The Velanidies Villas in Krithoni offer sea, garden, and mountain views, free WiFi, and free private parking. Located in Krithoni – Agia Marina, our villas are just a short 5 minute walk from Krithoni Beach and the heart of historic Agia Marina, with its restaurants, bars, and harbor offering catamaran service to Kos, Rhodes, Lipsi, and Patmos. A 16-minute stroll along the bay will take you to Alinda Beach, where you’ll find even more restaurants and bars. Each villa features a barbecue area, picnic area, and pool with panoramic views of Alinda Bay in a peaceful and secluded setting. From the rear of the villas, you can reach Agia Marina in just 5 minutes, making restaurants like Mylos-by-the-Sea, Metzes, and Ta Korupia even closer.

Welcome to your home from home on Leros! The Velanidies Villas, Villa 1 & 2 are in Krithoni, the green heart of the island, close to the sea, hidden in between the oak trees in Krithoni. We use green solar energy and have taken measures to reduce our carbon footprint. Together we are playing our part in fighting global climate change by using solar energy. In Greece we have a lot of sunshine, so during the day the villa’s batteries are charged. At night power comes from the batteries. We suggest you keep this in mind and consider your use of energy. You are reducing your carbon footprint by staying with us and protecting Greece and the rest of the planet from harmful global warming.
The Velanidies Villas have sea views, garden and mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Agia Marina, a stone’s throw (5 minutes) from Krithoni Beach and the heart of historic Agia Marina with its quayside restaurants, bars and port for catamaran services to Kos, Rhodes and Lipsi and Patmos. A 16-minute walk will take you around the bay to Alinda beach and more restaurants and bars.
Fitted with terraces, the villas offer air conditioning and feature a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with shower and a hairdryer. A fridge, an oven and microwave are also offered in the kitchen, as well as a kettle. Guests can relax in the garden at the property on the garden furniture and in their private pool.
Vromolithos Beach is 2.6 km from the villa, while Gourna Beach is 2.9 km from the property. The nearest airport is Leros airport (LRS), 6 km from The Velanidies – Οι Βελανιδιές.

We are a couple from Spain who do not speak English and let alone Greek, but on the island of Leros many people speak a lot of Spanish and especially at the Velanidies, so we felt very much at home. Athina and Samuel were very nice and left us a guide to the house and the island in Spanish with recommendations for beaches and restaurants. Everything was really clean and tidy and in the 1 bedroom villa, where we stayed, there was a washing machine, so it was very convenient for us to wash our clothes. The views of the bay through the olive trees were very beautiful and at sunset we enjoyed the views from the terrace. We highly recommend these houses for a romantic getaway.
Authentic hospitality! The owners are amazing hosts! They were very helpful and made us feel like home. This place is a hidden jem for lovers of nature with beautiful views. The perfect place to relax. We will definitely come back!!!
The Velanidies is a place of peace and tranquility in Krithoni, close to all the amenities in Agia Marina and Alinda. The villas were spotless and the kitchens were equipped with everything you need to cook for the whole family. We took our baby and they put a cot in our room and which meant we didn’t have to take one with us when traveling. The terraces had tables and sun loungers, plenty of places to have a snack looking at the views across the bay at Alinda. The bathrooms had branded products which was a nice touch. A welcome basket of fruit and a bottle of Tsipouro were provided. There was also a small guide to the island, its beaches and recommendations for restaurants with other information. We will definitely return without a doubt! Highly recommended.
